LEGEND AND TRUTH

Every legend has some traces of truth in it. But separating the grain from the chaff will destroy the beauty of the mystery and the joy that lies in them. Truth is dry inner seed and mystery is as sweet as the fruit and the legend the beautiful one. Any social or scientific proof of reality will destroy the spark of life in the hopeful. Hence societies tend to deny any intellectual enquiries and place a reward on faith. May be this is the reason that the pattern of concealing the truth has been almost the same in all ancient human societies. And beautiful and magnificent stories were constructed around them. These stories with time became the wealth of civilizations and were nurtured as they passed on from generation to generation via folklores, pauranic traditions, panchatantra stories, old wisdom and ancient traditions, songs, dances, music and literature.
